Bottled Water Donated for Area Events
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – January 31, 2012 – Local firm, Critierium-LeTellier Engineers continues a tradition in association with Corridor CoWorks Conference Center to provide bottled water to area organizations in support of community initiatives. They were made available on both floors of the event in the CoWorks Conference Center and Vault CoWorking and Colaboration Space as Innovators from across Eastern Iowa gathered to celebrate big ideas, the national and statewide startup movement, and the opening of our region's first entrepreneurial and start-up focused coworking venue. The public was welcomed to attend the late afternoon event which featured the Iowa Startup Fair, Ribbon Cuttings and Start-up Drinks #7 in addition to the various company presentations.

The water bottle idea started back on August 20, 2011 when the Cedar Rapids Chamber of Commerce hosted a booth for the Business Sucess Initiative during the Cedar Rapids Downtown Farmers Market. Our team provided bottled water for the booth volunteers who handed them out to market patrons many of whom expressed much appreciation for the gesture.
Then on September 23rd, the Cedar Rapids Area Association of Realtors served a meal for RPAC at the Mission of Hope, a local shelter and food pantry. Members of the organization provided provide salads, deserts, table service and drinks for approximately 150 people at the noon meal. Criterium-LeTellier Engineers is an associate member of the CRAAR, and donated the co-labeled bottled water for the meal.
Also, the October 1st quarterly meeting of The Eastern Iowa Branch of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) featured a bike tour of LEED buildings in Iowa City. The “Green Gears” event was a partnership between the USGBC group and the Cedar Rapids Iowa City Architect's Council. Following the tour a light lunch and refreshments was served at the University of Iowa Boathouse. Criterium-LeTellier Engineers is a member of the USGBC Iowa Chapter, and provided free bottled water for participants on the tour and at the lunch following the ride.
“We’re happy to assist our business associates in their efforts to support meaningful events and business development in our community.
