Feasibility Studies
Did you know that funding may be available from your utility to determine if a specific project is viable for your facility? Some utilities provide reimbursement for such feasibility studies. Reimbursement can often be as much as 50 to 100% of the cost of the study depending on how many improvements are implemented within program timeframe guidelines. In addition, some of the implemented measures may qualify for rebates or other cash incentives from the utility. Check with your utility account representative for information about the programs in your area. A feasibility study conducted by our team may help you better understand your current energy usage and aid in assessing the feasibility of your project plus related expenses. The study would also help determine potential energy and cost savings of proposed efficiency improvements.
Bill and Rate Analysis
There are various programs and pricing structures available through your utility for commercial and industrial customers. Specific measures such as moving energy consumption from on-peak to off-peak hours or reducing peak demand can result in significant savings. By reviewing your utility bills and analyzing usage through different pricing structures we can help you evaluate the impact these programs can have on your utility bill.
Plan and Document Reviews
We will help you identify areas of your project plan that might be improved to optimize energy usage and resource management. We’ll evaluate your scope of work, construction drawings or specifications and compare them to current green building criteria such as U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) or NAHB (National Association of Home Builders). We’ll then summarize our findings and review them with you to show you exactly where you can make modifications to meet certain standards or simply to improve efficiency and resource utilization.
LEED Consulting and National Green Building Standard (NGBS) Verification - We have LEED AP's (Accredited Professionals) who can assist you in obtaining LEED Certifications and accredited verifiers to assist builders in obtaining NGBS levels of certification for their new home products. The NGBS was developed by the NAHB in association with the International Code Council (ICC) and has been approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
